Avraham Kan "My Kaunas" (Mano Kaunas)

Landscapes of the Old Town and New Town of Kaunas painted by Avraham Kan (Israel), painter of naive art and primitivism.

“The cycle 'My Kaunas' was born after our visit to Kaunas, my native city, in December of 2013. It is as if Kaunas enchanted the artist and brought back my own memories of youth, in my native Georgia. Lithuania, according to him, smells like solidarity and unity. The cycle consists of 12 paintings, depicting warm and dear face of Kaunas. These are representations of places that are dear to my heart.” (Alina Tal Malakmadzė). The originals of works can be seen at Parko Gallery in Kaunas.
